James Douglas Jnr – Director

James Jnr qualified in Abu Dhabi and spent most of his time managing sites for companies in the gas and oil fields, turning desert tracks into some of the most high-tech roads in the world. He has worked closely with many of the main mining companies overseas on haul road stabilising and road sealing projects.

William Douglas
Bill studied at a British school in Dubai, UAE, before moving to the British Civil Engineering College in Abu Dhabi. He then started working in the family business as a project manager and in quality control. After gaining valuable experience abroad, Bill now heads up the UK operation.

Helen Varley
Helen possesses a broad range of valuable skills, knowledge and practical working experience within accounts, payroll, office administration, management and sales. She provides the vital link between the office, the company accountant and the directors, with whom she works closely and is also on hand to support the needs of staff and customers. Helen’s vocational experience has been developed and strengthened through her background within engineering and construction-based family-run businesses.

Jack Michel Butler – Site Foreman
Jack has worked with the Douglas family since he was 17. He completed his apprenticeship in the UAE and spent a number of years working alongside James, supervising a number of large contracts.
